Listening Leadership Retreat.
- Ages 14-17 Discover the skill of listening through native stories, listing and recording wildlife, and the sounds of the sunrise and sunset. Please consider joining Margaret Bruchez, phd as she explores the sounds of Wind River Ranch and the Mora River Valley.

Listening Leadership Retreat Checklist
Students will be camping.
Boys will be in a tipi and girls will be in tents provided by Wind River Ranch (on the other side of headquarter area.)
Students will be chaperoned at all times.
We have solar showers available.
Parents can call 505-425-1819 if they would like to contact their child at anytime.
If we are in the field, we will check messages 3 times a day and will return calls as soon as possible.
- WHAT TO BRING:
Something to share around the campfire (poem about nature, story, a picture,…)Sleeping bag/ matWater bottle (reusable)SunscreenHead lamp or flash lightInsect repellentbandannaHiking shoes (tennis shoes or boots)Sandals (flip flops are perfect)Appropriate clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable (PE clothes) light weight shorts, t-shirts, sweat shirt or light-weight jacket, extra socks…A hat to keep the sun off your face.
